The fifth of March marks an important day for the Cornish, as all of Kernow comes together to celebrate their history and traditions. Cornwall’s capital city of Truro hosted a festive and joyful St. Piran’s Day Parade yesterday, culminating in a singing of ‘Trelawny’ on the steps of the Truro Cathedral. Truthfal’s Caitlin Richards was there to capture the singing, the dancing, and the pasties.
Similar celebrations were held across Cornwall, and this year’s ‘Trelawny Shout’ was estimated to be the biggest yet.
