On Tuesday the 11th of February, the tragic news struck that ITV’s popular dating show Take Me Out has been cancelled after 10 years of running – I’ll give you a moment to take that in.

Home of cringey Saturday night entertainment, the dating show where young women vie for the attention of an eligible bachelor, who shortlists two finalists through a process of elimination has run it’s last course after ITV and Paddy McGuinness have squeezed out every last special they can.

However, no need to fret single ladies and single men because tonight, the SU are hosting their version of the dating show we’ve all come to love. If you’ve got what it takes to prove you’re the perfect match, join your fellow bachelors and bachelorettes in the Lower Stannary for RAD’s edition of Take Me Out.

Doors open at 8PM for an 8:15PM start and entry is £2 – both cash and card will be accepted.

All of the proceeds will go to Rays of Sunshine – the award winning national charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill young people and their families by granting wishes and providing ongoing support in hospital and within the community.

Join in for a night of entertainment (and possibly the chance to find love), while supporting a great cause.
