The Plainmoor ground-share deal between Torquay United and Truro City has all but come to an end after The White Tigers announced they will be returning to their former ground in December. Helical Retail had plans to build a Lidl superstore on the site but put a halt to the development. The construction will now not get underway until May 2019 meaning Truro can come home in the meantime. Truro moving back to Treyew Road was subject to a pitch inspection by Vanarama National League officials, we visited the ground on the day of the inspection and spoke to Chairman Peter Masters about the benefits of moving back to Treyew Road.
