This November marks the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War One. Despite the war ending a century ago, communities throughout the UK gather to pay their respects each year. But is it still important to have Remembrance Day? Last year, The Guardian published an opinion piece explaining that Remembrance Day is becoming an outdated concept and comments from the article and across social media supported this view.

I wanted to find out whether this is an opinion shared by others and after the Remembrance Day service, I talked to people in Falmouth to find out whether they think it is still important to have Remembrance Day, 100 years on from the end of World War One.
