Falmouth University recently held a plastic-free week to highlight the damage which plastics are having on our wildlife. Working in partnership with Smartie Lids on the Beach, Big Blue Ocean Cleanup and Beach Care among others, there were events running all week, including various seminars and workshops.
Truthfal’s Joseph Macey went along on the Cornish Seal Sanctuary trip organised by the FXU, to understand how important that week is for the students and learn more about the dangers of littering plastics on the beach.
