Probably the best idea, Nigel.

Jack Warrick 1st December 20171:48 pm

“I will have to set off to a couple of the stadiums for a recce over the weekend so we can present FIFA with our requests for live positions, etc, during the tournament.

Fisht Olympic Stadium, Sochi

The centerpiece of the Sochi Olympics, it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the event. Four first-round ground games, a round-of-16 match and a quarter-final will be played here. It has a capacity of 47,659.

Jack Warrick 1st December 201712:42 pm

Saint Petersburg Stadium, Saint Petersburg (surprisingly)

A super-modern stadium recently finished with 68,000 seats. The stadium played host to the opening match and the final of the 2017 Confederations Cup, with its design having been inspired by a space ship.

Jack Warrick 1st December 201712:40 pm

The Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, with a capacity of 81,000. This is where the whole tournament leads to. The stadium, which is currently undergoing renovations, also played host to the 2007 Champions League final where Manchester United defeated Chelsea on penalties.
